Description
Hello! Our names are Noah and Danielle!
I (Danielle) am an artist and a registered art therapist. I love all things creative and connecting! I personally love painting and sculpture. I am very curious, so I'm always interested in learning new skills or learning about new people. I like vegetarian cooking, creative/construction projects, and working with animals.
I (Noah) am a mechanical engineer who enjoys dabbling in music, the arts, outdoor adventures, and travel! I am especially interested in working with animals and creative/construction projects. I am also a quick learner and love working collaboratively with others.
We both grew up in Florida, and have previously traveled to Costa Rica, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Sicily, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, England, and around the United States. We both are fast learners, love making friends, and are not afraid to try something new!

More details about your skills
I have experience in a variety of skills. Among these are various forms of art making, mural painting, woodworking, art therapy, gardening, animal care, cooking. I also love learning new skills, so if there is something that is not on this list, know that I would probably love to learn it!
Art:
First, I have a bachelor's degree in Sculpture, which involved a lot of woodworking. I even learned luthier work from one of my instructors. I love all other forms of art, and I was a painting teacher at a studio for the first year and half of my graduate degree in Art Therapy. I have been painting as long as I can remember! I have experience with oil, watercolors, and acrylics.
Mental health services:
I have experience providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and school-age children. I have worked in two hospitals and a school providing therapy. Outside of my education, I have worked with adolescents with various mental illnesses as a residential assistant.
Gardening:
Both my grandmother and my mother grew up gardening and have passed much knowledge onto me. I have tried to keep gardens wherever I may live and grow some of my own food for the past few years. There are few things more rejuvenating to me than getting my hands in dirt and tending to the living beings that provide us food and shade. I also have experience volunteering on farms and have no problem doing the dirty work!
Animal care:
Regarding animal care, I have been caring for an elderly dog the past two years. He is 17 years old and has had some disabilities since he was a puppy when my parents rescued him. I adore elderly animals and love to give them a loving last chapter in their lives.
Cooking:
I have been cooking everything I eat for the last four years. I have a few digestive issues, which is common in the US considering the harmful additives in food here. I have developed intolerances to meat, dairy, and sugar. I found cooking to be a wonderfully rejuvenating task for me, allowing me to be creative while I care for my own body. I enjoy replicating and altering recipes from many different cultures, experimenting with new spices and flavors. Despite my dietary restrictions, I am capable of making creative and enjoyable meals that contain ingredients I may not choose on my own.
