Hello!

I'm Dan from the island state of Tasmania, Australia.

I grew up on the West Coast of Tasmania in a small mining town called Queenstown.
Queenstown is located in the Tarkine region, Australia's greatest expanse of temperate rainforest and the second greatest in the world. Growing up there, I took for granted the magnificence of the West Coast wilderness and the rugged mountainous terrain that I called home and I'm always so enthusiastic to tell people about my home in Tasmania.

I would describe myself as friendly, courteous, and upbeat. I meet everyone on face-value and I'm always so interested to hear people's stories and to see what I can learn along the way. Travel for me is equal parts learning about the destination as well as learning about oneself. Every trip is an opportunity to see the world through a different set of eyes and to become a more grounded, and well-rounded person. I believe also, that every trip takes a life of its own, so the only plan you can make is to be patient, resilient and humble.

I am an english and business communications major and work in Human Resources. In my free time, I enjoy exploring around, reading (favourites mentioned below), or occasionally writing.
