Description
Hi, I’m Katrin from Austria, and together with my partner Ruben from Spain, we’ve built a vibrant life in a small beach town in Costa Rica, combining our skills, creativity, and love for hospitality.
Katrin’s Journey
When I moved to Costa Rica, I brought a dream to life by designing and building the Green Moon Lodge—a magical dome house surrounded by jungle and wildlife. This unique space reflects my passion for art, sustainability, and creating unforgettable experiences. Over time, it became a sought-after Airbnb, earning excellent reviews and Superhost status.
I'm also an artist and run a small soap-making business. In addition, I help local entrepreneurs by setting up websites, online stores, and booking systems.
Ruben’s Journey
Ruben works part-time as an artisanal baker, delighting the community with sourdough bread. He’s also a consultant for hotels and restaurants, helping businesses refine operations, improve strategy, and enhance guest experiences. With hands-on experience in all areas of hospitality, Ruben also excels in event planning and public relations.
What Drives Us
We love connecting with people—whether through hosting, collaborating with local businesses, or creating memorable experiences. Our shared passion for nature, culture, and creativity fuels everything we do.
Our Next Adventure
We're taking a break from our jungle life to explore new places and meaningful projects. In 2025/2026, we’re looking for full-time, paid opportunities that offer hands-on experiences—ideally involving farm life, working with animals, and outdoor living. We're hands-on, hardworking, and can assure you both passion and professionalism in our daily work.
