Description
Hi there!
My Name is Clara. I’m a 29 year old vegan chef from Germany. I have a deep love for good food, honest connection and life on the road.
I’ve done professional chef training and years of kitchen work. Been living vegan since 2025 and these days, that’s the only way I cook.
I’ve been wwoofing and doing work exchange for over a year, and it genuinely became my way of life for now. I love the exchange, giving my time and energy for a place to stay, shared meals and a good time.
I spent half a year living in a community in Australia, and it showed me exactly the kind of life I want more of. A life built around support, shared values and real togetherness.
Sustainability is really important to me, especially when it comes to how I travel. Work exchange feels like such a natural fit for that, letting me move through the world slowly and give something back rather than just passing through.
Through traveling this way, I’ve found a version of myself I really like. I feel more present, more grounded, more me than I’ve ever felt before. I’d love to keep meeting people through work exchange, especially those who share my love for veganism and a spiritual way of living.
I also love working with animals. I spent two months on an animal sanctuary, caring for and learning from the animals there, and it’s something I’d happily do again anywhere I go.
And when I’m not in the kitchen or around animals, you’ll usually find me outside: hiking, exploring, just being in nature. It’s where I feel most alive .I also love reading books and getting lost in a good story.
As a person, I’m calm, bitt introverted, curious and reliable. Traveling solo for this long can get lonely sometimes, and I know there’ll be moments that push me, which is exactly when I appreciate having kind, open people around who are happy to share their stories and what they know.
Looking forward to meet you soon, Clara -

What else ...
I'm a dreamer at heart. My long-term dream is to someday have my own little café with a garden next to it, where I can grow my own food. ( Maybe even become self sufficient in the future ?) I want a safe and warm space for people to come together.
But for now living on the road fells quite right!
I believe in meaningful, slow living and the power of sharing skills and stories. I'd love to connect, feel free to reach out. :) -
