  • Description

    Hello!
My name is Claire, and I’m from Taiwan. I’m a curious, hands-on, and open-minded person who loves learning new things and exploring different cultures.

My background is in Mass Communication, where I focused on journalism, photography, and film production. I once directed an award-winning documentary titled “OwnDinary (庸有),” filmed in the Philippines, which explored the roots of happiness and how people find joy in ordinary life despite hardship.

In recent years, I’ve transitioned into a more technical field, learning low-voltage electrical systems such as CCTV installation, network cabling, and intercom wiring. I currently work on new construction projects, assisting with wiring, equipment setup, and network system installation. I’m always eager to keep improving my practical skills, especially in areas related to construction, renewable energy, and sustainable living.

I’m a native Mandarin speaker, can communicate well in English for daily life, and am currently self-learning Norwegian through the Duolingo app. Although it’s not easy to find Norwegian classes in Taiwan, I truly enjoy learning the language—it helps me feel closer to a culture I deeply admire.

Outside of work, I have many interests: fishing, skateboarding, basketball, motorbiking, and camper van travel. I love outdoor adventures and meeting people from different walks of life. I also enjoy spending time with children and teaching them fun, creative activities such as skateboarding, ocarina, Chinese yo-yo, soccer, and even some simple magic tricks.

Having studied in a forest school during my childhood, I developed a strong love for experiential learning and curiosity-driven exploration. Growing up in a music and English preschool founded by my parents also taught me the importance of creativity, education, and kindness.

Overall, I’m a friendly, adaptable, and responsible person who enjoys helping others, learning by doing, and bringing positive energy to any environment. I look forward to sharing my skills, learning from new experiences, and contributing meaningfully wherever I go.
