Hello! My name is Chiara and I’m from Italy. I’m a reliable, flexible and open-minded person who enjoys shared living, learning from others and taking care of spaces and communities. I’m currently looking for Workaway opportunities both in Italy and abroad, where I can contribute with my practical skills while experiencing different cultures and ways of life.

I have several years of experience working in hospitality as a waitress and kitchen assistant in a vegan restaurant in Modena. In this role I welcomed guests, served tables, helped with food preparation and plating, and supported the daily organization and cleaning of the kitchen and dining area. I enjoy working in friendly, welcoming environments and I’m especially interested in helping in guesthouses, hostels, small restaurants or family-run projects.

I’m also very interested in agricultural work, especially in sustainable farms, ecovillages and projects connected with nature. I enjoy working outdoors and learning about gardening, growing food and taking care of the land in a responsible and ecological way.

I have experience in volunteering and community life. I spent time volunteering in Germany through Workaway, where I helped at an animal sanctuary, participated in renovation and maintenance of a rural building, and supported families with gardening, house tasks and childcare. Currently I volunteer in an ecovillage in Italy, Alvador, where I help with gardening, collecting firewood, preparing meals and taking care of shared spaces.

Another experience that I value a lot was working at a botanical garden, where I welcomed visitors, guided groups, explained the project and helped maintain the garden and the accommodation facilities.

I have a degree in European Languages and Cultures, I speak fluently English and intermediate German. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and communicating in different languages.

People usually describe me as collaborative, respectful and calm under pressure. I like practical work, learning new skills and contributing to projects where people live and work together in a meaningful way.

I would love to join projects where I can help as a waitress, kitchen assistant, with gardening, farming, housekeeping, while continuing to learn and share experiences.
