Hi,

I'm Carys, a 26 year old Civil Engineer from the UK, whose taken a year from work to go travelling.

I've joined Workaway as I'm keen to immerse myself in local culture whilst I'm travelling. I also like to keep busy so this feels like a great way to do this whilst giving back to the communities I'm visiting.

My skills:
- I'm a qualified Civil Engineer with 4 years experience after completing my degrees.
- I've worked within the construction industry for 2 years as a Project Manager on water sewage sites - I'm not afraid to do dirty work!
- I've completed lots of previous volunteering with children and young adults back home, promoting my industry and helping them to get the qualifications needed. I've always loved this and found such joy from helping others.
- I'm a keen gym goer so although I'm small, I'm mighty and happy to get stuck in!
- I love to be outside and love nature.
