Hi :) My name is Belle. I'm 31 and I'm English-Irish . I've always been passionate about music and languages. I'm now a professional singer song writer and I've also been a language teacher for 10+ years. I studied translation and interpretation at university and I speak Spanish and English at a native level and I have an advanced level of French and Portuguese.
I was born in London but I was brought up in the Spanish countryside, in Granada.
I love the hustle and bustle of cities and exploring the music and arts scenes but I'm also very into nature and I'm very passionate about animals and wildlife.
I've been vegetarian since I was six years old and I've now been vegan for the past 10 years. I love cooking meals and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for myself but I also love cooking for other people. I'm known for my vegan cakes haha.
I love keeping active and doing sports like surfing, yoga and hiking. I also love to go to concerts, jam sessions and salsa dancing. That said, I am deffinitly past the partying phase. I don't smoke nor do I drink alcohol.
I'm also good with kids and love their company.
I would say I'm responsible, organised, reliable and a good communicator. I'm very empathetic and I know how to read the room. Looking forward to great workaway experiences!

More details about my language interests
My family and I moved from the UK to Spain when I was 6 years old. This meant that learning a second language became very natural to me. Having learnt Spanish fluently from a very young age made it easier for me to learn other languages. At university I studied Translation and Interpretation, majoring in French and minoring in Portuguese. I have done exchanges in Brazil, France and Portugal. I've been teaching languages for 10+ years and love to help students see languages as doors to new cultures and opportunities.

As mentioned in my profile description I love music and going to concerts, jam sessions and music festivals.
I also love to surf, surf skate, practice yoga, go hiking and I sometimes workout at home and do some cardio.
I love meeting new people and having interesting conversations.
I also have started to learn how to dance salsa and I love it :)
