Hey! I am Ava, twenty-two years old from Germany :)
Currently I am still studying social sciences and working in a small independently owned sandwich shop in Cologne. Since I was a little kid I enjoyed being creative in many different ways such as drawing, sculpting, collaging, photographing, etc. I love to experiment with new materials and techniques and I am generally always eager to learn something new. Nature is what brings me the most energy and inspiration. I love hiking and spending time outside, but since I am living in a pretty big city, these things tend to come up short in my life. I enjoy physical work, have no problem with getting my hands dirty and love to aquire new skills. I look for places that allow me to connect to new people, learn from each other and gain new perspectives on life.

During my school time I worked at a frame shop, as a handyman and at a horse farm cleaning out boxes, feeding the horses, etc. After graduating I worked as a short-term employee for about a year to try out different work fields. I worked at trade fairs, food trucks, company parties, childcare and much more. When I started studying I started working at a sandwich shop where I engage with our customers, prepare food, clean, operate the cash register, etc.
Generally I am very open to learn new things, I have no problem with hard work or getting my hands dirty. Actually I enjoy working with my hands since you kind of start to loose your connection to nature and real work when you are studying. I love being creative (painting, mosaic,...) and caring for others (animals, humans and plants). I also worked at a workaway in a forest the past two years where I operated a small chain saw and other tools to clean out the forest.
