Hello!
My name is Audrey, I’m 19 years old and currently doing a gap year before starting university next year. So, I now have one year where I do internships, work, travel and also figure out what I want to study next year! My main interests are art, animals and nature, so I want to find opportunities to gain experience in each category to find out what I like doing most. I also will be backpacking multiple countries in South-East-Asia, starting January, which I am very excited about.
I love learning new skills and am open-minded to try out new things. What makes me happy is being around animals, reading, gardening and meeting new people (even though I am quite the introvert).

I have only had a few professional experiences so far: gardening for my village, working at a milk-factory and working at a bank.
My favorite mini-job so far has definitely been cat- and dogsitting. I’ve house-sat, walked, administered medication and cared for so many adorable pets, each of whom has a special place in my heart.
I like hands-on activities and learn quickly, am very curious and adapt easily to new or challenging situations.
These past few weeks I have been planning my gap year, which leads me to an internship at my local Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and an internship at a Kindergarden in the next three months. I am in the middle of training to work with kids and I have a first aid/CPR certificate.
