Description

I'm a bit of a hippie traveller, I grew up in a town in England close by to pretty big cities, but I also grew up with my dad having built his own home in New Zealand, living completely off-grid and self-sufficient. I can therefore enjoy the quiet countryside or the busy cities and towns. I've travelled to 20 countries so far, and have done working holidays in 4 of these. I have done pet sitting for accommodation, previously, and even landscaping and construction on people's land.
I have a passion for health and fitness, and enjoy hiking, weightlifting, dancing, and skateboarding.
I try to live as sustainably as possible and care for the environment
I follow creativity in whatever form I feel inspired to pursue - I enjoy painting, poetry, woodworking, cooking, and just making things with my hands, in general. I love learning new skills and being inspired by other people's creativity.

I would love to be involved with helping a family or community out with any gardening/farming/construction work they may have that needs doing, in exchange for a place to stay. And hopefully practice my Japanese language, and learn new skills!

I've done just about every job under the sun at this point! Once I have an idea of something I might enjoy, I tend to study it intensely and immerse myself.
I have experience in agriculture work (harvesting, pruning). I've done gardening work before (planting, weeding). I've even done some roofing and general labour construction work, before, and am confident with power tools. I have experience in animal care - pet sitting and dog walking, and have done this all over the world for years.
I have a few years of experience in office administrator jobs, and also hospitality work such as bartending, waitressing, front desk, and housekeeping.

I'm a native English speaker, can speak proficient German, and have basic level Spanish and Japanese.
I also have a driver's license and international driver's permit, and can confidently drive any car - manual or automatic, new or old.

I'm a very fast learner, I love having a variety of tasks and constantly learning.
