— We are currently updating this profile since traveling the world in 2019 & 2020, now travelling with our two girls born 2021 and 2023 —
We are a well-traveled swiss family with some workaway experience, currently trying to introduce our daughters (2 & 4) to the many colours of the world. We enjoy workaway because we are enthusiastic to learn about other cultures and would love to offer our helping hands.
Anita:
I can call myself lucky enough to say I enjoy my life to the fullest and I'm a generally happy soul. I'm more of a quiet person but can get talkative an loud depending on the environment. I can't stand inequality and get very emotional about it. Most of the time I prefer to listen before talking. I can get extremely enthusiastic about new things.
Patric:
I‘m just an ordinary guy, pretty relaxed and do not ask for much. While Anita takes the sensitive part in our relationship, I’m responsible for the rational part. Nevertheless, I love travelling and I'm always curious about new cultures. I always carry my bagpipe wherever I travel.

Anita:
*Childcare* (mum of two girls, volunteered for scouts, was an au-pair)
*Photography, Videography & Graphic Design* (hobby, took some classes, used some for work and have equipment and programs with me)
*Marketing & Communications* (studied and worked in)
*Languages* (i have a passion for it, native in German, proficient in English, fluent in spanish, but I also speak some French and very basic Russian
*Teaching* (certificate in adult education, one month of teaching experience in Kyrgistan, English and some German, levels A1-B1, 5-40 yo.)
*Cooking* (home cooking & cooking for guests)
*Charity/Social Projects* (love to help, have volunteered for social projects in Switzerland, have worked in an NGO)

Patric:
*Software Developer* (studied and work experience): I'm fluent in different programming languages.
*Archaeology* (studied and field experience): Even when the most work has to be done in the library, I also know what it means to get dirty.
*Language skill* German native speaker, fluent in English, once fluent in French and I'm currently learning Spanish and Russian.
*Music*: My greatest obsession is playing the bagpipe. Even when I'm travelling, I always have an instrument with me.
*Cooking*: Live is too short to eat bad food.
*Teaching*: I gave Windows and Office lessons to unemployed people.
At University I taught statistical approaches to future archaeologists (that was hard ...), I taught English to Children and Young Adults in Kyrgistan
