Hello!
My name is Angela, but most people call me Angie. I’m 57 and have been a primary teacher for nearly 30 years. I’ve worked in England and Spain and for the last 14 years I have been living and working in Germany with my German partner Peter.
I have always loved to travel and over the years I have visited many countries. I resigned from my teaching post last summer and have been traveling since then. Last autumn we I cycled from Germany to Sicily and then cycled around Sicily and Sardinia. I have recently returned from three months travelling in Asia and am at home in Germany.
Traveling and languages are a huge part of my life, so it seemed the right time to join Workaway!
I’m fit and active, hard working , organized and a quick learner. Whilst I can’t claim to be an expert in anything, I am willing to give most things a try and can clean, cook, garden, paint, help with children and language learning (I do have lots of experience with these two!). Most importantly I am flexible and open and self sufficient and happy with my own company or with others.
