Hello!
My name is Angela, but most people call me Angie. I’m 59 and have been a primary teacher for around 30 years. I’ve worked in England and Spain and for the last 16 years I have been living and working in Germany with my German partner Peter.
I have always loved to travel and over the years I have visited many countries. I have only ever (as yet) done one workaway in Galicia, where I stayed for three weeks and did general handy work (cleaning, decorating a kitchen) and gardening (you can read my hosts review). I found it to be a really positive experience and am open for more!
Traveling and languages are a huge part of my life, so it seemed the right time to join Workaway!
I’m fit and active, hard working , organized and a quick learner. Whilst I can’t claim to be an expert in anything, I am willing to give most things a try and can clean, cook, garden, paint, help with children and language learning (I do have lots of experience with these two!). I grew up on a farm and am therefore used to taking care of, and being around animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. Most importantly I am flexible and open and self sufficient and happy with my own company or with others.

I can cook, clean, paint, weed, garden and generally help out.
I grew up on a farm and love animals, especially dogs. We had a black Labrador called Jasper for many years and am happy caring for pets.
