  • Description

Hi there, my name is Anastasia.

Currently, I am enrolled as a student in Political Sciences with only term papers left to write, which is why I do not have to be physically present at my university. Therefore, I wanted to use this opportunity to work abroad for a couple of months and recently signed up in workaway. My preference is to stay in one place for 1-2 months if it is a good fit, in order to be able to immerse in the local life.

    About me as a person:
I am open-minded, friendly, full of energy, but I also love listening to other people's stories. I am always eager to broaden my horizons, be it through learning new skills, experiencing different cultures and cities, or connecting with people from various backgrounds. I love being inspired by others (and wish to do the same)! Even though I'm happy to socialize most of the time, I enjoy peace and quiet and don't mind being by myself.

My favourite pastimes include sports (especially calisthenics, swimming, hiking), DIY projects (from drawing, pottery making to sanding & painting furniture), and cooking (I loooove good food!)

If you were to take me in as a workawayer, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to learn from you and others! Enthusiastic work-attitude and smiles guaranteed :)

I'm a dog lover, it's definitely a huge plus if you have one;)

  • More details about your skills

Currently, I am studying Politics at the University of Bonn (Germany)

    Professional Experience:
I have been working constantly since I turned 16, mostly in hospitality. I have 3 years of experience in restuarant service, which is why I am used to ensuring high quality service, always keeping a friendly, open demeanor. I also have some experience working in a hotel, including serving breakfast. My adaptability, willingness to learn as well as try something new, was proven by changing industries. That is why I worked as grocery store clerk/cashier for two years.

    Skills:
I do have organizational talent, which I used to help with organization and (creative) realization of Event-Catering. I am a tidy person, who likes cleaning to the extent that sometimes it brings me joy and peace. Due to my experience in restaurant service, I am good at working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, serving food, making drinks and jumping in to fill different positions if there is a staff shortage. Furthermore, my friends describe me as a good cook:)

Other soft skills I bring about:
    - hands-on mentality (I am convinced that there is nothing I can not learn to do, it's just a matter of time and effort)
    - quick learner
    - reliable, responsible
    - diligent
