Description
Hi there! I'm Alexandra, a Biology student on a mission to discover the world and connect with great people during my semester breaks.
I’m already a seasoned Workawayer! I loved the experience of my gap year, where I got hands-on with everything from gardening and household tasks to childcare and caring for animals. I’m happy to get stuck into any project—my patience is well-trained from my time as an Ice Skating Coach for kids!
The biggest energy boost for me is being out in nature—it's my favorite way to recharge my batteries. I also come with a natural affinity for all things four-legged: as an only child, my dogs and cats were always my siblings, so I’m incredibly comfortable around animals.
I describe myself as highly open-minded and very adaptable to new places, routines, and cultural quirks. While I study biology and occasionally work in gastronomy, I’m constantly on the lookout for the next great adventure and new friendships.
I’m also vegetarian. I love to cook and lear about new recipes and cuisines.
