Hello!
This year I’ve decided to renew my Workaway profile because I’m very interested in learning about natural building (especially cob building) and everything related to a self-sufficient way of living—such as permaculture, wild edible plants, natural medicine, eco-houses, and more.
I would really love to meet someone who is happy to share their knowledge with me!

About me:
After finishing my university degree in Bologna, I decided to say goodbye to city life. I took a course to become a hiking guide, and since then I’ve been trying to spend as much time as possible in the mountains—working in the Alps during the winter season and going on adventures in the summer with a few friends and my tent.
I deeply care about the health of our Earth, and I would like to build a life where my way of living has as little impact as possible on our beautiful planet.

During my previous Workaway experiences, I’ve had the chance to explore many different ways of living—from life in cities and the countryside to a simpler lifestyle in eco-villages and remote cabins in the Alps. I’m always happy to learn new skills and discover alternative ways of living.

Some things I love:
the sound of streams, walking barefoot in the mountains, the smell of resin, sleeping in my tent, collecting cool rocks, creating macramé jewelry.

I feel really drawn to Spanish and Portuguese. I can understand a bit of Spanish, even if I haven’t practiced it in a while, and I’ve recently started learning Portuguese (on Duolingo). I’d really love to improve and learn more along the way!

Spending two weeks with Luca and Neige was one of the best Workaway experience I’ve ever had.
The place is absolutely stunning, surrounded by woods, streams, mountains and a lot of wild animals.

We absolutely loved every minute of Alessandra's stay with us. She approaches everything she does with calm self assurance- at 18! She is so calm, witty, clever and kind.
