I'm Alice, I come from Łódź, Poland, I’m 28 years old and this will be my first time participating in workaway :)
For a few years now I’ve been fascinated with the idea of cultural immersion. I believe it’s the most enjoyable, diverse and respectful way of getting to know the world. It’s the little things. The everyday rituals, the slang words, the local fruit, the music people dance to.
I spent two summer seasons working in Yellowstone and Alaska. Living close to nature was definitely a very honest and calming experience. As much as I enjoy the city life, I thrive in the wild :)
Ever since I started learning Spanish I’ve become curious about Spanish-speaking countries. A few years ago I joined a student exchange program that took place in Ecuador. It was love from the first sight, such an enriching experience. Would love to visit again.

At home I help out at my family's catering business. It's a demanding job that often requires working long hours and working under pressure. I'd say I'm reliable, hardworking and attentive to detail. I simply care about what I do :)
