Description
We are a coffee farm dedicated to specialty coffee and take care of the natural. Among our tasks is the maintenance of the coffee plantation, the harvest and coffee processes. We live in Tulipe, an archaeological zone, rich in landscapes. We are an hour and fifteen from the city of Quito

very few know what is behind a cup of coffee, the goal is for them to learn what the coffee grower and all related people do for you to serve yourself a cup of coffee.

They will be part of the stay in our house, where they have a separate room. the house is fully functional, the farm has 10 hectares of which 5 correspond to coffee plantations and 5 are forest for grazing, and a small area of native forest. At the end of the farm we have two pyramids of the Yumbos culture

After hours, you can visit the town of Tulipe 5 minutes from the farm, or other towns such as Pacto, Gualea, Mindo. There is transportation every hour to the city of Quito

The place is wonderfull, with amazing views, and the house very cosy.
Julio is a very good cooker and knows how to receive people and make them feel home.
He knows a lot about coffee and really takes time and love to explain you everything

Julio es muy simpático, le gusta mucho compartir su vida cotidiana, sus experiencias de café, su comida (muy rica) y todo sobre la cultura local (tolas, museo arqueológico, fábrica de panela). No es un voluntariado pasivo sino una experiencia social y cultural muy fuerte y intensiva !

La casa es grande con sofas, comedor y cocina, hay dos baños. Nosotras estuvimos en un cuarto con una cama grande. Hay tres perros tiernos y un grupo de vacas.
Julio vive solo, y viene un hombre para trabajar algunos días.
