Description

Solo traveler here !

Originally from the South of France, I studied there until I was 18 years old.

I then lived in Montreal for 3 years for my undergrad, and I had an amazing time living there : discovering the vibrant culture, both in winter and summer, ice skating, and enjoying my studies.

I moved to New Zealand for an exchange semester in Auckland, followed by a Working Holiday Visa (2017-2018). I stayed in New Zealand for a year and a half and loved it there. I made some wonderful friends, I did many rock climbing trips, I surfed, and got a taste of New Zealand's relaxed way of life.

I then came back to France to study marine science and sociology (interesting combo !) and work.

I've done many different jobs : greenhouse employee, vineyard worker, translator (marine science contents), live interpreter for film festivals, waitress, scientific tour guide for an aquarium, nature guide / environmental educator for marine and moutain environments...

Places I've lived in : Montreal, Auckland, Aix-en-Provence , Marseille, Brest, Nantes, Annecy, Mayotte, Martinique, etc.

Current travel plans :
- I came to French Polynesia to visit a friend. I'm off to San Francisco, where I will sail with my sister all the way to Costa Rica, for the whole month of November. After that, I'd love to discover Central and South America.
- Starting from January 2026, I'd love to find a workaway adventure in Latin America to spend some time in one place, meet people and understand local life. I speak French and English fluently and I really want to improve my Spanish !

Hobbies :
In life, I really love spending time in / on /near the ocean : surfing, diving, spending time on boats, watching the stars, sunrises and sunsets.
I also love to explore the land : hiking, biking, hitchhiking, wildlife photography.
I also love to read, draw and paint.

Type of workaway experiences I'm looking for :
- dive center (to spend some time diving and share that passion with others)

- I'd love to paint my first murals as part of a workaway art project !
- I also have an interest in gardening, farming, self-sufficient living
- I also love to dance (salsa, bachata, swing) so I'd be interested in dance-related workaway experiences, or to stay somewhere with a dance scene

I'm very sociable, easy going, easy to live with. I love to meet new people, discover new places. I'm highly adaptive and always happy to learn something new.

I've taught english before, private lessons with a university student. I'm excited to teach english or french to kids, teenagers and adults of any age. I love languages and I'd be happy to help someone learn a new language.

I've coached young girls to learn gymnastics. I have babysitted before. I am patient and i love kids. I volunteered in a Peruvian school and loved it ! I am creative and love music, painting, drawing...

I study in Canada and am an not going home (France) for christmas. So I'd like to spend my chritmas holidays helping out someone not too far from Montreal, to do whatever they may need volunteers for !
