Hi! I'm Adam, an English guy backpacking through South America. I travel to make new friends around the world, to learn about new cultures, to learn about myself and to eat all the food.

I use workaway whilst travelling to give something back to the community and try to make a difference in the world. Volunteering is the perfect way to experience a different side of the countries I visit; it's a way to really connect with locals, to help them, learn from them, learn about their culture and gain a new perspective on life.

In general, I like to think I'm a fun, silly guy to hang around with, I like to have great conversations, share travel stories, discuss art/music/film and just have a chilled time. I'm open minded and always looking to step out of my comfort zone!

I worked in a restaurant for 4 years, mainly in the kitchen as the desert chef, but undertaking other roles such as waiting and bar work. After university I have worked in a few design offices as a design engineer / product designer / industrial designer / 3D designer / graphic designer.
