Description

Hi! My name is Adam, and I love to learn from new cultures. Although I am planning to go to law school in a year, I've worked with children in the education/tutoring world for 3+ years now, teaching mostly Math and English. I have a certain knack for working with kids- mostly because I like to laugh and make things fun!

I like to stay mentally active whenever possible. I play guitar and piano (although piano only a few months), I read frequently, and I enjoy having deep conversations about interesting ideas. As I said: I like to learn from new cultures! I was a philosophy major in college, and that provided a sort of learning, but now I'd like to learn from other people in other parts of the world.

I also love the outdoors. I go crazy for mountains, forests, lakes, creeks, etc, etc- like Yosemite or other parts of the Mountain West United States. Things I can interact with. I like to climb, swim, ski, and just generally be outside. I'm kind of like a cross between a Border Collie and a Golden Retriever when you let me outside. I'm just going to run.

I have been tutoring Math and English for at least three years now, although I have easily worked with kids another year coaching youth soccer. I am used to working with all ages and can adapt to students' needs effectively. I also essentially have a degree in writing from my philosophy degree, which is kind of a niche skill but maybe applicable towards content creation for websites.
