Description
We've been off this for a while - but it's time to re-activate!!!! Busy couple living on 5 acres of beautiful bushland... You'll be ten minutes' walk to the most beautiful beach and 4 km from the small town of Marlo. Guests must love dogs - we have one - and chickens! - and be happy to do some work in the yard. It's an amazing place to come and stay if you love the outdoors.

I would love to improve my very poor French and siSwati - or any other language. I love languages!Accommodation
We offer a private flat with a kitchenette, double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower. There is wifi and an outdoor firepit area. Neighbours are close to the flat so we ask you don't have wild parties around the firepit!!!
If three or four people are staying, the caravan can sleep an extra couple. No bathroom, electricity, wifi or running water out there though - the extra guests would need to use the flat's bathroom and kitchen facilities. What else ...
Marlo is situated in a remote area which does not have a lot of public transport. We can drive and pick you up/drop you off at the nearest town which is Orbost. We are on the Vline bus route. Sometimes a pick up /drop off from the Vline train at Bairnsdale is also possible. You can borrow a bike or two or three.
The area is very beautiful with untouched beaches, an estuary (where we paddle) much wildlife and amazing bush. We love to cycle, run and stand-up paddleboard. We can lend you a kayak or canoe. There is opportunity for hiking on the bush tracks or on the beach, swimming and paddling. The birdlife is incredible and you are almost guaranteed to see a kangaroo or wallaby during your stay. Maybe even an emu or two. Photographers think this place is heaven.
There is only one pub and two small shops in Marlo - so not a lot to do when it comes to shopping!
The area suits someone who loves the outdoors, exercising, or someone who is after a quiet retreat.
We cook vegetarian meals (occasionally fish).A little more information
