Peace.
I'm Abdulmalik, my friends just call me Malik / Mako. I'm a adventurous traveller, a spiritual seeker and an independent artist, finding a numerous ways to express my creativity.

I'm interested in visual art & sound; especially ethnic/jazz music (and especially drums), travel photography, and traditional calligraphy. But for sure we can also spend endless hours talking about lliterature, films, history, sufism, zen, counterculture and alternative lifestyle. ;)

The things I enjoy the most are campings in nature, meditative hiking in the mountains, long walks in the forest and listening to the sound of the birds and the river... but city life can be equally good for me, especially if I can take the opportunity to meet new people and immerse in a different cultures.

I am open-minded and peaceful person, respectful towards people coming from all paths of life. What makes me really happy is a sense of doing meaningful, creative work, serving others and sharing interesting conversations and experiences. I think we can consider every person we meet the reflection of the Truth about us.

Any projects based on cultivating art, re-discovering connections with nature, learning about new cultures and inspiring spiritual development makes me genuinely interested. As a lover of travels I like to volunteer in places where other travelers can rest, meet, exchange, develop, integrate and have a good time as well. I can gladly help with my energy and time.

As a lover of nature and alternative lifestyle I participated in Rainbow Gatherings, hippie communes and different artistic & eco projects. I volunteered in backpackers hostels, guesthouses and farms in Bulgaria, Albania, Morocco and Turkey and worked as a Holiday Representative on a few big campsites in Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Because of doing it for extended period of time I gained valuable experience in touristic field (as a receptionist, cleaner, information support, guest service, gardener, etc.)

I worked as a Holiday Representative on a camping and volunteered in a few hostels so i have experience in working as a receptionist, cleaner, tourist information and guide. As a volunteer i have little experience with simple gardening, animal caring, physical work and general maintenance too.

I'm interested in art and cultural exchange and I participate gladly in any projects involving music, film, production, painting, doing calligraphy, literature, photography, exchanging folklore, sharing culture and history, etc.
