Hello, there!

My name is Zuleica and I am from Gran Canaria.
I have worked in the hospitality industry for 8 years (mainly in London, UK). I started as a receptionist and worked my way up to front office manager. I also have experience working in customer service roles, organising, waiting tables, as a nanny, caregiver, innkeper with housekeeping duties and writer and editor for a start-up magazine (I did this briefly after graduating in Journalism)

2 years ago I joined Workaway and my life changed dramatically. Within a week I found myself in a different country, learning a new culture, language and job at the same time. I loved it! This lifestyle is exciting and rewarding. I have met incredible people and experienced completely different lifestyles.

I love travelling, being in nature, hiking, cycling, and enjoying my free time. Also, I absolutely LOVE animals, and I am obsessed with dogs.

I am thrilled to work and live somewhere else for a while and give it my all, while working hard, learning a new language and culture.

My aim is to keep living this way experiencing different kinds of lifestyles in various parts of the world.
