  • Description

I work professionally in student mental health, supporting young people through various emotional and psychological challenges. My background in clinical psychology, combined with my experiences living and working in different countries, has given me a deep appreciation for people from all walks of life. I am naturally curious about human behaviour, cultures, beliefs, and the many ways people experience the world.

Throughout my life, I have worked in a variety of fields, including mental health, social care, hospitality, gardening, cooking, and DIY projects. I enjoy learning practical skills and am always happy to help wherever needed. Having lived a long time between Morocco, Cyprus, Turkiye and the UK , I adapt quickly to new environments and genuinely enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone to learn something new. Nature plays a very important role in my life. My partner and I are passionate about gardening and sustainable living. We have taught ourselves how to grow our own fruit and vegetables and have been very successful so far. Our garden continues to evolve each year, and we even built a pond that has become a thriving little ecosystem in the back of our garden . Working with nature has taught us patience, creativity, and the value of living more sustainably. One of our long-term goals is to become as self-sufficient as possible.

Travel has also shaped who I am. I started solo backpacking during my bachelor's degree in Cyprus and quickly discovered that volunteering was one of the best ways to connect with people, learn new skills, and experience local cultures. Over the years, I have enjoyed hitchhiking, Couchsurfing, camping, and hosting travellers. These experiences have helped me build friendships around the world and taught me the importance of openness, respect, and cultural exchange. Spirituality and personal growth are at the centre of my life. I believe that kindness, empathy, good communication, and active listening are essential for creating meaningful connections. I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, camping, learning new languages, improving my gardening and DIY skills, and sharing knowledge with others.
While I enjoy socialising and meeting new people, I also value privacy, personal boundaries, and quiet time. I believe that mutual respect and understanding create the best experiences for everyone involved.

"The details of educational programs and activities aimed at promoting social integration will vary a great deal from the local to the national and international levels. However, in our increasingly interdependent world, all programs and initiatives must have certain aspects in common. Among other things, they should teach unity in diversity as the foundation principle for social integration both for nations and for the world community . . ."

I look forward to meeting new people, learning from different ways of life and contributing wherever I can.
