I am psychology graduated students in Cyprus.
I am really into wildlife. Whenever I get the chance, I travel or go camping somewhere. While backpacking, I often count on hitchhiking and Couchsurfing to get to meet more people and make a wider international environment.
I am always ready to experience new adventures and learn new things. As soon as I get the opportunity to learn a bit about something, I do my best to maintain it perfectly.
Depending on how far I can adapt to the energy within my environment. Sometimes I can be loud and sometimes quiet. There are times where I am social and times where I would like to feel the others more than to talk. I do find myself in wild and nature.
I started having single trips alone since 4 years ago ( and still a solo backpacker till now) as a way to discover the world and myself. I did find that volunteering is a very good chance to try new things, help and meet amazing people.
I used to host a lot of travelers back in Cyprus. It taught me how to be flexible and erase any stereotype or prejudice related to other cultures. I became very easy going and open to learn and share everything I am possessing. That gave me the chance to have friends all over the world, get a piece of knowledge about the worldwide population and what human beings made on this earth.
As my work suggests, I love studying people and their personal, cultural, social, religious, economic, gender, cognitive motives. I tend to get out of my comfort zone and do anything that increases my adrenaline.
I am always excited and super energetic while expressing myself and speaking about some exciting things while traveling but in my normal state I am calm.
Spiritually is a major thing in my life and it matters a lot to me. For some, my scientific way of thinking is contradictory of me been a very spiritual person but I think that everything is connected.
At the moment I am applying for a clinical psychology master in the UK.

I have been working hard in part-time jobs while studying to afford accommodation and discover the world. When I was doing that I learned about international gastronomy and organic zero waste way of living. I had also different jobs like cleaning, teaching languages, waitress, student representative in my university, psychotherapist's assistance, kindergarten teacher...
I always work on my fitness and to have a long healthy life so basically hard I am used to hard work.
I am extremely passionate about trying new tasks and very ambitious and ready to learn from people.
I like camping and wildlife in general kind of getting dirty and a bit suffering but completely enjoying yourself so if there is any chance for me to help people, Workaway is a bless and I can give as much time as I have for it because I believe that it worth it.
Recently most of my volunteer work was with NGOs and charity organizations. I always imagine myself working in humanitarian fields because it is what defines me the best. Any work with concepts is good for me.
I believe that in order to be more productive I have to love what I am doing that's why the psychology matters more than the task itself.
Workaway is a win-win thing for me. More than volunteering it is important to learn and share and not just use it for material profit.
As I stated previously If I have no experience in a specific thing I am applying to, trust me as soon as you teach me a bit I will do my best to be a fast learner.
