Hi! My name is Virginia, I'm 24 years old and I'm an Italian girl who recently graduated in foreign languages ​​and literature from the University of Pisa. So, as a language student I have a great level of English, Spanish and Portuguese, but I also know a little bit of French. Aside from studying, I've always worked seasonally during the summer, as I live in a small seaside town that thrives on summer tourism.
I've worked as a waitress, barlady, saleswoman in an ice cream shop, babysitter and homework helper and all these allowed me to improve my interpersonal skills, as well as stress management in dynamic environments, customer service, manual skills and most importantly it gave me my autonomy.
My greatest desire is to travel the world, discover cultures different from my own, improve my language skills, and have new experiences that can enrich me personally, emotionally, and professionally. This is why I think the workaway experience would be a perfect fit for me, representing an inspiring and challenging initiative!
Finally, I consider myself a responsible person, with a great spirit of adaptation and always ready to get involved.

More details about my language interests
My interest in foreign languages ​​stems from the travels I've made since I was little. This has led me to develop a strong passion for linguistic subjects, which ultimately led me to choose to continue my language studies in high school and at university. I've always studied English at school, then I learned Spanish and French in high school, and finally I added Portuguese to my "list" during my university career.
