Description
We are a very active couple, and we appreciate the simple joys of life, spending time in nature, hiking, cycling, camping, and exploring new places. We're from a big city, but we both have always lived in the outskirts with a big garden, and a lot of beloved animals, like cats, dogs, chicken, rabbits, ducks, turtles, and even a little goat. Yearning for a slower pace and a deeper connection to the land, we hope to live in the countryside in the future, so we’re eager to learn useful skills and insights about farm life. Besides our love for nature, we are curious souls with an interest in diverse cultures, languages, history, and geography. We wish to travel more in the future, and we think Workaway offers us the opportunity to expand our horizons while contributing meaningfully to communities around the world.

Viola has a Master's degree in Languages and Intercultural Communication. She's a very crafty person and likes making clothes, jewels, and cute things. Mattia has a degree in Cultural Heritage. He has always taken care of the vegetable garden with his family and helped with little upkeeping tasks of different types. We have good cooking skills and we're interested in expanding them. We both have driver's licenses and are used to long drives. In the last year we've both acquired some experience in the social field, working in a center for migrants in Palermo (Mattia) and in Naples (Viola).
