Hi there,
me name is Mave, I'm from Germany but my goal is to make the world my home.
I want to hike over mountains, climb trees in a forest, burrow in a desert, scream in a cave, then run from a swarm of bats, sit at a campfire, dance in the rain, walk along the beach, pet every animal on the way, get to know new cultures, new ways of living, new people, families and fellow travelers.
In short, I want to finally live.

I've never enjoyed any higher education. School taught me the basics but not what i actually want do with my life. Figuring that out on your own can be hard work. But self education is the best education. I guess that's debatable but hey we already found our first evening talk topic.

For a long time I've felt out of place, almost as if thrown into the wrong time period.
Especially in the last few years my body stood still but my mindset changed a lot.
Maybe the answer for me isn't to stay in one place but to move on and then further.

And that's what i intend to do now. Travel wherever i can, with little more than a backpack and see where the road takes me. Documenting the whole journey, with my self taught video skills, hoping to eventually turn it into a diary of the people, places and random encounters.

I definitely want to get closer to nature, although I'd happily keep my distance from spiders.
Learning more about living in harmony alongside animals and plants is an important point on my bucket list. Also getting to know different cultures. And if the opportunity presents itself, create something that lasts, something that might make the future just a tiny bit better. Whatever that is I will have to find out.

Some quick facts about me:
- 100% Vegan for several years. This was one of my best decisions.
- Though undiscovered so far, I'd like to call myself an artist. Writing scripts for videos, movies, songs or anything that comes to mind brings me joy.
- I lived on my brothers farm for a while where I helped build, clean out or tend to animals (often times just one dog with an insatiable demand for belly scratches)
- There where a couple of children in my family I took care of from time to time. For some reason they always liked me. Maybe because I look so fabulous in a princess dress.

What I'm hoping to find:

Peace. On one hand it would be cool to meet new acquaintances, people who enjoy their life and are willing to share those moment with me.
On the other hand, just relaxing and living in the moment. Taking a deep breath whenever needed and not being pressured into something.

Eventually I'd like to find somewhere nice and cozy to settle down, but I suspect that's still a long way to go.

When does the ability to do something turn into a skill?
I am able and willing to help with whatever work is on the menu.
If its gardening, light to medium care for pets/plants/kids.
I can clean and cook (more or less, it probably tastes good but don't expect it to look fancy).
Also i like to build things with my own hands, following a plan or freestyle.

I'm a bit of a nerd. Recently i quit pc games but i still love to play MTG, D&D or any board games really. I also discovered hiking for myself, just watching nature do its thing is magic.
I do not take any kind of drugs. As for alcohol it's debatable in company.
