Hello! We are Amy and Ty (Timo). We are a couple and work as a business consultant and life coach. We are currently traveling around Switzerland to find a place where we would like to build our new life in Switzerland. We are experienced pet owners and pet sitters, having had cats, dogs and a horse. Amy is also a trained biologist, equine therapist, and dog trainer. Yeah, so after leaving and processing the whole stay I would like to share my Thoughts of the experiences at Werner.
Werner is in his heart a very nice guy, but however, he is in such harsh conditions in his life right now, that he is misunderstood the Concept of Workaway with a kind of " Cheap workers" to help me with my Life-Concept and… read more personal-issues. We have traveled and worked Switzerland for 4 Month and this stay, was the worst experience in the whole time.
The House is old and Werner named it like that, that's ok. A cold bathroom, without any modern heating installation is ( in winter Times) at least a "Challange", but because if HOT Water, no Dealbreaker for us. It is hard, but it works, ok. To fire an oven in the winter Times is also no Problem for us. But after that, everything "hard" which is coming our way, wasn´t the conditions, then more of the "Emotional Surrounding" - the rough and hard way, Werner treats his "guests": It seems that he has totally forgotten, that it should be more like a Cultural-Exchange with help on your Ground, than WORKERS ho have to work hard for 5 hours! That you would never hear a PLEASE ore THANK YOU for the work ( besides for the cooking, which is no "work " in his eyes ( even for 7 People)) which is one thing.
Then the food Issues: #redacted# he has the audacity to serve Old bread ( which he is getting from the bakery for the Cheeps) , old Chees (with fungi- from storage wrong) and Carrots for Horses and Animals puts on your Foodcart!! No way of "Healthy Food" as described in the text!

But decide all that the real problem is, that Werner is not interesting in you as a Traveler ore Person, he is only interested in you as a Worker! Yes, you can use his Clay if you want to skullpture anything. but there is no really interest in showing you art ore bring you to the cultural Exchange he offers in his text.
and: he asked many tasked from us, which are supporting his side business as an Construction worker , including asking my girlfriend to write a Calculation for a Job- he would have to do . and when denying it, because we would not like to be involved in stuff like that, he panicked and would have thrown us out of the stay - only by my insist and doing the work he asked, could calm him down. I gave him some clear words about that, and that this is NOT OK, to speak to us like that and ask for work like that. Me ,as a Life Coach, could clearly recognize, #redacted# And : he where planing to bring ex-junkies on the Farm and had the audacity to ask US to look after him and gave him the Structures to get along. WOW! So we left without any hesitation by next morning . Sorry, this Guy is in an extreme harsh life-Situation and under big Pressure, make your own mind how "nice" this stay would be for you. Definetely NOT recommend to go there until further investigations . !! SORRY, I don´t like to be that guy to be that clear , but I have to be clear about the situation in 04 / 2026! I could see that there were other times on that Farm, but THEY ARE OVER! sorry
