Hello! I’m Tristan, originally from South Africa and currently travelling the world in search of new experiences, cultures, and meaningful work.

I’m passionate about ranching and farm life, and I enjoy getting stuck into hands on work outdoors. I have experience managing and running a busy bar, which taught me how to work hard under pressure, take responsibility, and communicate well with people from all walks of life.

Photography is another big passion of mine, and I love capturing the people, landscapes, and everyday moments I come across during my travels.

I’m reliable, hardworking, easy to get along with, and always keen to learn new skills. I enjoy being part of a team, don’t mind getting my hands dirty, and take pride in doing every job to the best of my ability.

I have experience in hospitality, including managing and running a busy bar, where I developed strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills. I’ve also volunteered on a variety of farms in Turkey and Morocco, including horse farms and eco sustainable projects, where I’ve gained experience with general farm maintenance, animal care, gardening, and outdoor manual work. I’m physically fit, enjoy practical tasks, and learn new skills quickly. Alongside this, I have a strong passion for photography and content creation, with experience producing high quality photos and social media content. I’m adaptable, reliable, and always happy to take on new challenges, whether that’s working with animals, helping with maintenance, assisting guests, or supporting day to day tasks wherever I’m needed.

I’m someone who enjoys staying active and getting stuck into practical work. Early mornings, long days, and getting my hands dirty don’t bother me. One of the main reasons I’m travelling is to experience different ways of life, especially on farms and ranches where I can learn new skills and be part of a hardworking team. I enjoy taking on responsibility, challenging myself, and helping wherever I’m needed. Meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and contributing to a project are some of the most rewarding parts of travelling for me. I also have a passion for photography, so I’d be more than happy to capture photos of your property, animals, or daily life if that’s something you’d find useful. Most importantly, I want to leave every place knowing I’ve worked hard, learned something new, and made a positive contribution.
