Description
Hello and Kia Ora to beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand and all of its people!
My name is Titus. I am 31 years old and from Germany.
In march ’26 I arrived here with genuine interest to understand more about this country, its people and the cultural roots of this awesome land.
TO MY PERSON:
I‘d describe myself as a creative, honest and open-minded optimist who tries to be aware of his environment.
Once I feel comfortable, I can be really funny! I try to spread good energy wherever and whenever I can. But I also can enjoy my own company.
As a peace-loving, reflective person, I value respectful interactions.
I have a slightly spiritual side and I am good at laughing about myself. (Most) people appreciate my companionship, not least because of good and meaningful conversations they can have with me.
All in all I can proudly say: Mama raised an empathic human being with decent manners and a good sense of humour.
I really enjoy music and I played drums for a long time. Besides that I love to hang out with people, sharing good food and funny stories.
I'D LIKE TO:
build bridges, real connections and to widen my perspective.
I want to leave my comfort zone and learn more about different kinds of (community) living and their approach to bring their spirit and beliefs into this complex world.
WHAT I AM GOOD AT:
Hands-on tasks and creative stuff is my thing. I am also slightly experienced with hospitality work and farm living. Tho I’d like to learn more about that.
I always try to have an open eye on what’s on around me.
If you want to reflect about feelings or philosophical/political ideas I am the one for you!
I am really looking forward to probably crossing paths with you!
Wishing you all the best,
Titus -

More details about your skills
I have experiences in carpentry and woodworking. You can be sure I know what a hammer looks like and what it does: I helped renovating a house ( it´s still standing), did forestry work and a wee gardening.
I also worked part time in a café a couple of years ago and helped organizing and operating concerts, weddings and festive events (as well as pre and after care and bar).
Furthermore I
- did creative projects, like building lamps
- am good with writing texts
- gave drumming and handcrafting lessons to kids
- went to university for cultural anthropology
- love animals and nature
last but not least:
long time band experience including live shows, studio and recording sessions and social media content. -

What else ...
Hearing and reading about stories, myths and history of particular cultures gives me a lot.
I also like walks or hikes and am open minded to whatever the people around me are up to.
Aaaah and cooking - yes. I have indeed talent for mixing things together and I managed to live by myself and also in shared flats. EVERYBODY still alive... AND happy so... -
