We are Rick & Judi Peters. We have been married 34 years and raised two children. We are a non-smoking, dependable and drama-free couple! Rick is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic and Judi is a retired business owner/entrepreneur. We sold our house 5 years ago and now split our time traveling in our motorhome and our catamaran. Traveling with us is "Feivel", our friendly and well-behaved 10 pound Morkie.

Through the years, we have owned and remodeled 3 old houses, completing ALL of the work ourselves. We can do plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing... all phases of construction! We even bought a backhoe, dug out under our house, and installed a FULL BASEMENT! Our friends kindly refer to us as "Mr. & Mrs. MacGyver".
Both of us are computer literate. We believe our personal integrity and our strong work ethics are our strongest attributes.

Our first time in Ecuador and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. Rick enjoyed his usual maintenance projects while Judi was in heaven caring for their 4 friendly dogs. Captain Alex's boat was full with workawayers when we contacted him. He graciously took us on a beautiful day of sailing anyway. He is super friendly, has a great sense of humor, and SAFETY is his first and foremost trait! We hope to volunteer with him someday.

Robyn and her family are beautiful people! This place is magical! The views are priceless!
Bugs were not bad at all. We had a fan in the room that kept us cool and comfy, so we fared just fine without A/C!
We learned to make bottle walls, tiled, painted... easy stuff!
Definitely on our list to go back!

Don is a super friendly host! We tiled his shower and organized his tools. He gave us a ride to Bolongo Bay, which is a must see. His cat and our dog beca me friends. Wish we had more time, but we'll be back someday.
