Description

My name is Tatum de Kraaij, I'm 23 years old and from the Netherlands.
I enjoy baking, reading, learning about and making art (I have a Bachelor's degree in Art history), meeting new people and of course travelling. My favorite season is winter, I love mountains, even though the Netherlands doesn't have any, and hiking, skiing or snowboarding on them when I get a chance.
I hope to learn as much as I can from the cultures and people of the countries I'll visit, so that I can use these lessons to hopefully through understanding and art make the world a happier place. :)

I graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a bachelor degree in Art History. Three months of my degree I spent abroad in England, where I helped set up an art exposition for the school. For 2 years I was part of my bachelor's study group committee as treasurer and secretary. We organised study meetings and study related activities like museum tours or artist talks.
I have worked, both as paid employee and volunteer, as a cleaner. Both of which I really enjoyed because I got to meet the most interesting people while doing the work:the paid work was cleaning for elderly and disabled back in the Netherlands and the volunteer work was abroad in hostels in America and Japan.
Aside from that I have some experience in customer service and cooking/baking, and I am certified in basic First Aid and CPR.
I speak both Dutch and English fluently, can understand and speak basic German and am in the process of learning Japanese.

I enjoy skiing/ snowboarding in the winter and doing pilates whenever I can, drawing and painting and people watching.
