Description
Hi! I'm Tate, a 22 year old from Colorado, USA. I am going to school at Utah Valley University studying psychology and planning on taking a gap semester starting 2026. I deeply value connecting with people and building meaningful relationships wherever I go. I try to bring good energy into every situation and do my best to leave things better than I found them. I am a very flexible, chill, easy going person and want to experience life in as many ways possible. I’m a hardworking, driven, and goal-oriented person, but I also love to laugh and enjoy the moment. I love the outdoors and love skiing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and climbing. I love music and playing guitar (I write my own music too). I played tennis and lacrosse in school and love any sport. I own a home in Utah and rent it out so it's very important to me to have good hospitality and a clean home!

More details about your skills
I have worked a number of jobs from being a professional cleaner, to a cashier, to being in professional sales for 2 years.
Out of all of my jobs, being in sales has taught me the most. I went door to door selling pest control for 2 summers. This was the hardest job I have ever had but it has taught me the value of hard work and resilience through handling constant rejection without losing confidence and Interpersonal & Communication Skills through building positive connections quickly with diverse people and active listening to resolve problems.
I also own a rental property in Utah which I have done my own renovations on so I know a bit about basic remodeling such as floors, drywall, painting, etc.. I have also kept tenants happy and addressed their needs which has helped me develop hospitality skills.
I served a 2 year mission for my church in South Carolina full of service and teaching. I learned how to teach to all walks of life, whether it was a 70 year old woman or a 9 year old boy, and learned to connect with people of all different cultures. Being able to serve and teach the people of South Carolina brought me so much joy. -
