Hello! My name is Tasuku, and I’m a university student from Japan. I love connecting with people from different cultures and creating meaningful memories together. I'm motivated by the idea of helping others while growing as a person through new experiences.
I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things, especially if it means forging meaningful connections with others. Whether it's attending a local festival, hiking in nature, or simply relaxing over tea, I find joy in moments of human connection. I also enjoy spending time alone.
So far, I’ve had the opportunity to experience life in both Australia and the Philippines, which really opened my eyes to different ways of living and thinking. These experiences made me even more eager to explore new cultures and live more freely and authentically.
Coming from Tokyo, an area heavily influenced by Japan's fast-paced, structured culture, I've always been drawn to places where people live their lives with purpose and creativity.
For me, travel is more than just an escape from everyday life; it's a way to challenge my assumptions, gain new perspectives, and grow.
This is my first time using Workaway, and I've heard so many great stories from friends and travelers I've met. I play both the guitar and piano, and I love how music brings people together without needing words. I’ve also played volleyball for years and was even the captain of my team, so I enjoy being active and working together with people. I really enjoy being in nature too — whether it’s hiking, exploring, or just being surrounded by fresh air and trees. These are all things that keep me energized and grounded.
