Description
Hi there! Hope you’re having a wonderful day☀️
I’m Taichi, an adventurous traveller from Japan.
Currently based in Australia. Planning to travel South America next.
I’ve lived in Tasmania for 6 months, and in Woolgooga (NSW) for 1 year.
My interests vary from DIY renovation projects, permaculture, animal sitting to cooking. Especially, I’m fascinated by the DIY culture in Australia, and would love to learn how to Do-Everything- Myself!
I’d like to manage guesthouses and have my own micro-brewery in Japanese country side. I believe Workaway will give me amazing experiences for this.
I’m a super curious person and I’m eager to learn anything.
In Australia, I’ve worked in variety of jobs including Assistant Brewer at local craft brewery, bartender, waiter, kitchen hand, fruit picking, robot operator, abalone farmer, etc.
I have a bachelor degree in Geography and Urban Planning from University of Birmingham (UK).
Back home, I worked as a business consultant, supporting Japanese hospitality industries for their renovation projects. I also have strong interests in environmental management field, and have worked in disaster mitigation and emergency conservation projects.
I love surfing and camping, and of course travelling.
Recently, I’m into home brewing, and very fascinated about fermentation world!
I’ve lived in Japan, HongKong (2 years), UK (5 years) and Australia now.
I have my own car which I can sleep in if necessary.
I hope to see you soon!
