Description
I'm a British/Irish artist from the UK with a background in theatre, currently completing a Masters course in Urban Planning. Until 2020 threw everything up in the air I was running a theatre company with a close friend which specialised in creating shows which would tour libraries. Since then I've sidestepped somewhat into place-making with a particular focus on sustainability and climate action, but I'm still very interested in the power of the arts to interact with and democratise urban processes. I love to travel when opportunities present themselves but have not roamed very far afield in some time - the last time I flew was to visit my brother in California in 2018, when I made a road-trip up the west coast to Vancouver BC, stopping along the way at a handful of awesome permaculture and land-based communities.

I wouldn't claim to be a specialist in much besides performance, but I'm guessing there won't be much call for accent mimicry or Shakespeare recitals. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades/master of none really; I certainly don't mind rolling my sleeves up and getting stuck into most handy tasks, and I'm generally pretty good with people (young, old and in-between). I have my (UK) motorcycle and truck driver's licences. I'm particularly interested in languages and besides learning German at college I taught myself Swedish (and am currently learning French).
