Hi there! My name is Suzanne Maria, but you can call me Suzy.
I'm born and raised in the Netherlands. I studied arts and cultural sciences and used to work in the arts and culture scene, event management & organisation related. Since a few years i'm traveling around, mostly in Asia, where i've also been working as a Divemaster. When traveling, I prefer not to rush through places to check only specific touristy spots. Instead I like to move slow and take my time to soak in the environment, explore and spend more time in places that make me feel at ease and where I can learn more about the local culture and connect with people.
I love arts, culture, learning languages, trying new food, diving, hiking, nature, animals, meeting people and making friends. I'm thrilled to learn more about different cultures, lifestyles and traditions. I like to go off the beaten track and who can teach you more about a place than the locals, right?!
I'm a curious and energetic person, who loves to be outside, in nature. I'm into creative things, different forms of art and learning new things. I am a caring person, involved, dedicated and like to help people and contribute however i can.

I previously worked in event organisation, arts and culture related. For example dance performances, music festivals, art exhibitions, host for artists, etc.
Apart from that I did my yoga teacher training in India in 2019 and I'm a certified Divemaster since 2020.
