Hello! My name is Sonja, I'm soon to be 30 year old woman from Finland! I'm curious and creative person who get's exited easily and enjoys being around people and animals.

I work with people and before that I have worked with animals.

Right now I’m working with people with special needs (such as disabilities, autism, mental health problems etc). My first education was a horse caretaker and I have worked in stables so I know that working with animals is to work in every weather condition, getting your hands dirty and being patient.

I have had dogs and cats, and I have learned a lot about reading them and training techniques, sometimes I have trained other peoples dogs also.

I'm quite experienced with photography and I know basics from videography and editing videos and photos. So if host needs pics or videos for social media for example I can do some photography also, since I'm planning to take my camera with me.

I would like to volunteer work because I want to do something meaningful with my time, and also have schedules and tasks to do so I'm not only wandering around half a year. I would be happy to get to know locals and other volunteers also.

Protecting animals has always been my biggest passion and close to my heart. I'm an activist for example in the Finnish Nature Association wolf action group, where our goal is to save wolfs. In the wolf action group I have gotten to arrange and participate in demonstrations, I have talked to Finland's Secretary of State about why protecting wolfs is important and I have planned ways to educate people.

I have had dogs and cats, and I have learned a lot about reading them and training techniques, sometimes I have trained other people's dogs also (positive reinforcement). I've trained horses also.

I'm not drinking alcohol much, I'm not using any drugs or smoking or littering and I'm responsible person.
