Hello, I'm Shayna! I'm a backpacker motivated by awesome nature and connecting with people of all walks of life and backgrounds.

I'm interested in foraging and learning about plant medicine. I've developed versatile handy skills from a can do attitude and hands-on manual labour jobs. I love exploring new places to experience different ways of living, different cultures, and languages. My true happiness lies in being surrounded by nature and good company. I consider myself open-minded, compassionate, and welcoming. I'm always seeking opportunities to grow and have a positive impact on those around me.

Hello, I'm Lewis I am a Scottish backpacker looking to to explore to landscapes and cultures.

I work as an Ecologist so I love nature and the environment. I am also a Botanist and love going out and finding new species. I enjoy manual outdoor work and have experience in Labouring and farm style jobs. I am very easy going sociable individual, and I love meeting new people. I always try to look at the bright side of life and be grateful for what I have.

Shayna: My experience ranges from garden and compost projects, to hosting hostel events and cleaning. I both enjoy gardening and value homegrown fresh produce. In hostels, I've explored my creative side by painting colourful murals, and social side by facilitating social connections and exciting trips for guests.
From my BSc in Environmental Science, I have the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and passion for sustainability oriented projects.
I love being active, and soaking up new skills. If you're looking for someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty, eager to learn, and has a solid understanding of the environment, then I'm your person!

Lewis: My experience ranges from ecology and tree planting to hospitality. My current career is working as an ecologist were I survey plants and animals on a nature reserve. I have a degree in Politics and Geography. I have worked as a tree planter where I planted native woodland. I have also worked as a labourer and as a fruit picker on farms which required a lot of hard work and long hours. I also used to work as a Gardner and have my own vegetable garden back home in Scotland. I am hard working and happy to learn.

This is a beautiful resort and it made working there easy!
