Description

Traveling the world over a decade while working with some of the most beautiful and exotic guest houses in the moutains of Spain; Malaga, Gran Canaria and Valencia, also Languedoc, South of France. Worked on events, assisted management, and jumping into as needed in multiple roles. I've been blessed to work with some of the best people who truly understood it's all about an experience both for the guests and the traveling workers. Some of the most rewarding have been assisting management at Hostels in Bucharest, Romania and Vieques Puerto Rico. I have a background in advertising, producing dance on Broadway and Lincoln Center NY

When approaching you for an exchange, I am aware of my talents, as I will bring a great work ethic, life experience, a positive attitude with a mindset of exploration while discovering more of myself and others around me. But more importantly connecting with positive souls while adding to my already expansive global family.

Born in British Guyana, but grew up in New York City, and now embracing the world as my. true home. My background includes advertising, stage producing, playwright and director on Broadway to Lincoln Center and smaller stages. Have managed events from weddings to banquets for politicians, movie/video shoots to taking art to small communities, both in New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I'm aware of my talents. I'm trust worthy and possess the gift of common sense, as it is not as common as most think. I come with real world references beyond workaway.

Communication is key from our initial interaction here. It will speak volumes. I also trust my gut when choosing a Workaway host. If you're interviewing me, I'm also interviewing you, as it is a 2 way experience.

Recently TEFL certified to tech English. Working a book about my travels and how travel saved my life.

Most recent travel experiences were truly life redefining:
(2024-2025); 5 months moving between Turkey, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, Serbia and 2 months in Spain. (Early 2024); San Juan, Puerto Rico. Romania: Timisoara, Cluj and Bucharest and Rome Italy. (2023): Three amazing months each in Czech Republic, Romania, Colombia, Germany, Poland, Croatia and Bosnia. Other journeys include France, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, and Dominican Republic.

I am seeking to gaining new connections and experiences while connecting with myself and people from all walks of life. That is the true gift of life!
