Hi! My name is Shangyu, but you can call me Seven. I’m a friendly and easy-going person who loves learning new cultures and trying new things. I’m currently an au pair in the US, so I’m used to helping with daily routines, childcare, organizing, light cleaning, and simple cooking. I enjoy taking care of people and keeping spaces clean and comfortable.

I’m happiest when I’m exploring new places, meeting different people, and learning new skills. In my free time, I love going to the gym, hiking, thrifting, visiting local markets, and discovering nature. I also enjoy studying languages — English , and I’m always excited to practice with others. I like photography, cooking simple meals, and doing small creative projects.

I really enjoy learning languages and connecting with people through communication. My native language is Chinese, and I’m currently improving my English. I like practicing with others and I’m always happy to exchange languages or help someone learn Chinese. Language learning makes traveling more meaningful for me, and I love picking up new words and phrases from the places I visit.

I have a mix of practical and creative skills. I worked at a language school in the Philippines, where I helped with social media content, simple editing, and organizing daily tasks, so I’m comfortable with communication, basic marketing, and digital work.

I also volunteered in a Buddhist temple, mainly helping with baking and making desserts. I enjoy cooking and creating food that looks and tastes good. I’m patient and careful when working in the kitchen.

Besides that, I can do simple design work, photo/video editing, and small creative projects. I enjoy making things look clean and well-presented.

On the practical side, I have strong experience in childcare, cleaning, organizing, cooking simple meals, and general housework from working as an au pair in the US. I’m good at keeping spaces tidy and following routines. I also like outdoor tasks such as gardening, weeding, animal care, or helping on small farms.

I learn quickly, communicate clearly, and work well both independently and with others. I’m always happy to try new tasks and pick up new skills.

What else ...

I really love animals, and they are a big part of my life. I have my own Shiba Inu named Wukong, so I’m familiar with pet care, training basics, feeding routines, cleaning, and understanding animal behavior. I’ve learned a lot from raising him, and I’m patient, gentle, and very comfortable around dogs, cats, and small animals.

I enjoy spending time with animals, taking them for walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and happy. I’m also responsible with schedules, food portions, and cleaning up after pets.
