Description
Hi, I'm Dominik! I am 33 years.
My friends always describe me as a spontaneous and flexible person who is curious about new things and likes to try different things. Exercise, sports, and delicious food are just as much a part of my life as moments in nature, where I find peace and recharge my batteries.
Interactions with other people are also particularly important to me – I look forward to meeting new people, being inspired, and sharing my own experiences. I like to get hands-on and don't shy away from getting my hands dirty.
Professionally, I have a background in IT; privately, I have a close and empathetic connection with animals that have always accompanied me in my life. On my backpacking trips through various countries, I've learned how little you actually need to be happy and how valuable the encounters and experiences along the way are. These impressions have had a lasting impact on me.
We traveled almost one year in Asia and gained lifelong experiences from our Volunteerings. I'm motivated, open-minded, and full of joy to gain new experiences, contribute, and give something back.
I’m Selina, 28, studied psychology and spent quite a few years working in emergency services – which basically means I usually stay calm, even when things get a little hectic.
I’m a very open-minded and curious person who loves to laugh and try out new things. Animals are my absolute weakness – my husband and I have this little quirk: whenever we see a cat or a dog on the road, we have to stop and pet them. No joke, it’s basically mandatory. 🐾
When I’m not busy chasing after animals, I love writing, painting, or cooking with passion. Most of all, I enjoy being outdoors – whether it’s gardening, hiking, or relaxing in my beloved hammock. So projects with animals, creative work, or anything out in nature sound just perfect for me.
When it comes to practical, hands-on skills, I’m definitely not a pro yet, but I’m super motivated. I really want to learn, help out wherever I can, and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
I’m excited to meet amazing people along the way, learn new things, and hopefully make a few furry friends too.
For now, we quitted our jobs and appartment for volunteering and travelling. So, we are flexible and decide by our gut feeling. -

More details about your skills
I have a background in IT, so I bring technical knowledge and patience when explaining things. Through my work as a consultant, I'm used to supporting people, making things understandable, and sometimes acting in a coaching role.
Besides technology, I'm very interested in crafts, especially woodworking, where I enjoy learning new things. I also write training and workout plans.
Cooking is also one of my passions, and I enjoy preparing meals for others. I also particularly enjoy interacting with animals, small children, or the elderly—encounters that are always enriching and enjoyable for me. -
