Profile information

Description
I am a well traveled individual on to my next adventure in Australia/New Zealand. I have lived the past three and half years in Edinburgh, Scotland and I am excited to get some heat and sunshine. I have had the privilege to live many different lives at this point, and have gained quite the menagerie of skills and interests. I have had a wide variety of jobs from farm work, animal husbandry to jewelry welding, cheese and wine making, you name it. I have also been an Au Pair in the Netherlands and have plenty of experience with children. My passion is traveling and gaining perspectives wherever I can. I am hard worker, and a quick study - always up for a new challenge. I love animals and have previously pursued a career in wildlife biology, I also thrive when I can create things and love ceramics.
Looking forward to trying new things and dusting off skills that I haven’t used. I have done both workaway and WWOOFing in different countries before and have always enjoyed experiencing life from a different point of view!

More details about your skills
At this point I have quite a few skills up my sleeve. I have done all manners of farming - vegetable, vineyards, cow and goat dairies, horses (most farm animals). I also dabble in woodworking, have experience welding (most small scale, but I have a steady hand and can pick up traditional welding again). I also have experience with ceramics, mosaics and loads of creative outlets. I love to cook, and I am not half bad at it. Many years of customer service and hospitality experience, barista work and fine dining.
I studied and worked as a wildlife biologist for several years, specializing in endangered species surveys, mostly with bats.
