Hi! My name is Sarah, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Italy.
I recently graduated in Psychology, but my true passion has always been horses and the outdoors. I'm now looking for my first working experience in an equestrian environment, and Workaway feels like the perfect way to start.
I have about a year of hands-on experience at a riding school, where I took care of saddling, grooming, cleaning paddocks, tack and equipment. I'm comfortable around horses — though I'll admit I'll need to brush up on some things, as it's been a while. That said, I'm a fast learner and I pick things up quickly.
I'm a responsible, friendly and hardworking person. I love being in nature, I enjoy working with both adults and children, and I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty. I'm available from April and I'm flexible about location — I'm just looking for a beautiful place where I can grow, contribute, and be surrounded by horses.
I speak Italian and English, and I'm genuinely motivated to make myself useful in any way needed.

I have experience working in a ice-cream shop and as a babysitter, so I'm comfortable both in fast-paced environments and with children. I'm reliable with household tasks — cleaning, tidying and keeping things organized come naturally to me.
I enjoy cooking simple but good food, and I'm always happy to learn new recipes. I'm not a gardening expert, but I'm willing to try!
I hold a full driving license and I'm used to taking initiative and being responsible around the house and with people.
Beyond practical skills, I have a creative side: I studied music at a conservatory for 10 years, and I'm passionate about drawing, writing, photography and dancing! I love animals deeply — I have a cat and I've always felt at ease around them (but I'm a little afraid of eese).
I'm an outdoor person at heart, happiest in nature, and I'm genuinely excited about learning, travelling and building new experiences. -

In my free time I'm drawn to romantic stories, fantasy worlds and anime — I love getting lost in a good narrative. I used to read a lot and I'm slowly finding my way back to books.
I have a genuine (and very amateur!) interest in astrology, and I've recently fallen in love with henna drawing — I've been practising a lot and I'm getting quite good at it!
I have a soft spot for iced teas and fruity cocktails, and I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen — with mixed results, I'll be honest! 😄
When I need to recharge, I find a sunny spot, put on some music and let my thoughts settle. Simple but effective. -
