Hello! My name is Sarah Sheedy and I am an American who is quitting my job and coming to Australia for a year to do some farm work, volunteer and explore! I have lived in Europe the last 5 years (Netherlands and France) and am looking for another great opportunity to meet people and learn about our world! I currently work in marketing, but am quitting my job in hopes of finding more meaningful and enjoyable work. I spend my time with my dog, my family, doing photography and training for marathons! I’ve got a great attitude, I love to work hard and I’m a very fast learner, so where I may lack in experience, I make up for in other ways!

I studied psychology and communication in college and have a masters degree in applied cognitive psychology. I currently work in marketing but am looking to expand my knowledge and find a more meaningful career path. I am a very hard worker and an extremely fast learner, and have a can-do attitude! I speak English fluently and have an intermediate level of French! I love all animals and have a big soft spot for dogs! I am very handy and creative and have spent lots of time with my Dad helping around the house, working on cars and fixing anything that’s broken.
