Description
It's been a few years since my first Workaway experience... In 2015-16 I spent almost a year and a half travelling around Europe and staying with many terrific Workaway hosts, trying my hand at all sorts of new things.
All this time later and those are still some of best memories. Back in England, working the dreaded 9-5, I find myself itching to get back on the road and explore somewhere totally different!
I'm generally considered quiet and independent and I can happily immerse myself in a task, zoning out the world around. However from previous Workaway experience I've discovered its more fun to work in a group and meeting people from around the world is one of the highlights of any trip.
On my previous trip I learned a lot about Permaculture and similar farming / smallholding /regenerative agriculture ideas. I'd really like to continue this journey and pick up new skills while helping someone with their own project.
I'm not much of a city person and i'd prefer a chat to a party. In my free time I like to be outside a lot; hiking, climbing, swimming ( I'm learning to surf) or lounging with a book. I've never been to Central or South America so show me what you do for fun!Interests

Through Workaway I've done a variety of jobs from building mud-huts, bamboo sunshades and dry-stone walls to painting stables, clearing woodland and digging trenches.
I love working with animals, having some previous experience with horses, ponies, dogs, cats, chickens, llamas! and probably more...
Growing my own food is a long-term aspiration so I'd love to learn about farming as well as eco-friendly building techniques.Age
