Hi, I’m Saeed. I’m originally from Iran and currently living in Tehran. I work in theatre as a director, stage designer and instructor. I studied and lived in France for a few years, and since then I’ve travelled extensively around Europe, which has shaped both my personal and professional life. I returned to Iran in 2013 and have been working in theatre there ever since.
This year I turned 50, and I’ve decided to take a step back from my professional routine to focus on discovering, learning, and meaningful cultural exchange. At the same time, I’m starting to develop a new theatre project, which gives me a flexible schedule to travel, exchange experiences, and work on my writing.
I’m social, independent and energetic, with a good sense of humour. I enjoy working with people, sharing everyday life, and learning through experience. Teamwork comes naturally to me — I work very well in a group, but I’m also happy to take the lead when needed. I’m very hands-on and practical: I grew up spending time in nature and on farms, and I have experience in renovation, construction, carpentry, repairs, painting and general maintenance. I also love cooking, especially Persian food, and enjoy learning new recipes from other cultures.
I love travelling, camping, running and cycling, and I enjoy music, festivals and good conversations. I’m clean, down-to-earth, reliable and comfortable working independently. Naturally curious, I’m always eager to learn new skills, share experiences, and bring a positive presence wherever I stay.

I’m very hands-on and practical, and I enjoy working with my hands. I have experience in renovation, construction, carpentry, painting, repairs and general maintenance. I’m confident with tools and I learn new technical tasks quickly.
I also have experience in gardening and outdoor work, as I grew up spending a lot of time on farms and in rural areas. I’m comfortable with physical work and working outdoors.
Through my theatre career, I have strong teamwork and organisational skills. I work well in a group, can take responsibility when needed, and I’m reliable and punctual.
I also enjoy cooking (especially Persian cuisine) and I’m happy to help with daily household tasks.
