Profile information

Description
I'm a student who is going for a masters in Peace&Conflict Transformstion. This I want to combine with self-sufficiency, permaculture and alternative lifestyles.
I hope I will find people to help me learn here, and am open to traveling throughout Europe to stay with others and pick up whatever knowledge and skills I can!
I'm hardworking, passionate, a love of learning, avid reader and open-minded and feel weird writing this about myself. My friends tell me I am good at communicating, explaining and understanding things with relentless drive. They sometimes envy me for knowing what I want in my life. They also tell me I am open, reflective, non-judgemental, meet people where they are, live with genuine spirit, curious and come along with everyone I meet. A friend from Poland tells me I'm good at critical thinking, analyzing, synthesizing (putting pieces together to form a greater whole).
A friend in her 50s from California says I have a growth mindset, able to navigate complex situations, driven to understand and create successful solutions, cognitive empathy, strong integrity and a team stabilizer.
The life I aim to create is a self-sufficient lifestyle in Norway, and if done well and efficiently, I want to have a family and try to combine various disciplines, crafts, traditions, cultutres, histories, philosophies and other worldviews in order to build self-regulatory systems that can survive and thrive what past civilizations could not, with a connection to both humanity and nature.

More details about your skills
I'm usually more theoretical and scholarly over practical, but I aim to make both converge. Though I love learning and am able to work smart and find simple solutions - problem-solving in creative ways is important to me.
More practically, I have a little experience with welding, forklifts, organizing groups and people mainly through a student organization, systems thinking, adaptability or openness to new experiences, circumstances or situations. I do not give up.
My father was a fisherman, so I have learned some from him, and my work besides studies is manual labor, so that is not foreign to me.
A lot of my time goes to studying various scientific fields, philosophy, understanding systems.

27

What else ...
I am curious about almost anything. Philosophy, history, anthropology, pedagogy/education, sociology, psychology, religion, culture, neuroscience, botany and various systems in nature, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, archaeology. Other than that I'm pretty easy-going and want to learn whatever I can!
