  • Description

    Hello!

We are Emma and Rosie, two friends traveling together to discover your beautiful country! We met during a student exchange in Zaragoza, Spain, and instantly became friends! We are known as an energetic and friendly duo who love to laugh and are very pleasant to be around.

Hi! My name is Rosie, I'm 22 years old and I come from Canada, specifically from the province of Quebec where we speak French. I am trilingual, I speak French (first language), English (C1), and Spanish (approximately B1-B2). I had the chance to live in Mexico for 4 months and in Spain for my student exchange for 5 months. I completed a bachelor's degree in human and organizational communication, a program that allows us to analyze group dynamics and human relationships.
I worked for almost 5 years in the restaurant industry, mainly as a cook, because I love to cook and I am fascinated by the cuisines of other countries. I have been a Girl Scout for over 10 years now, which makes me someone who listens to others and is very respectful of her environment. I am passionate about the outdoors, I do a lot of hiking, wild camping, skiing, snowboarding, and I am always ready to try new things. Finally, one of my main hobbies is crafting. I love painting, crocheting, making earrings, necklaces, friendship bracelets and much more. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Hey there! I’m Emma, 22 years old and currently finishing my Bachelor in Biology. I am from Germany and study in the Netherlands, of which one semester I got to experience the vivid culture of Spain. After high school I took a year off to do volunteering in Romania and Norway for half a year each, which made me fall in love with the idea of getting to know a place by getting involved in projects and exchanging experiences. Back then I worked in various fields, including farm work (mainly horses and dogs) and gardening work, work at an architect's office, field work at a bird watching station (counting and ringing), as well as hostel work and organising guest activities. The work environment varied from very isolated places and independent work, to big groups of people and working in a team. I also used to volunteer with outdoor summer camps in Germany and Greece, for kids and youth aged 8 to 17.
Other than that, I simply love being outdoors and seeking adventures, and have a rather active lifestyle. I play the piano and sing in a student choir, and also enjoy painting, ceramics, crafting in general and cooking. My mother tongue is German, but I am used to an international environment, as I have lived abroad for almost 5 years now. I am fluent in English (C2) (my studies are in English), and speak an intermediate Spanish (A2/B1), which I would love to refresh and improve! Other than that I have some understanding of Dutch, French and Romanian.
